That's actually quite old, just a new minor update for it. Still, it's great and very much worth playing.

You might also want to look at Wing Commander Standoff, at http://standoff.solsector.net/

It's a fanmade game built on the Prophecy Secret Ops engine, set between WC2 and WC3, with a lot of great classic ships, and it very much has that classic Wing Commander feel to it. IMO one of the best fan made games I've ever seen.

Well, the pleasure's all mine! Just another comment though: Gemini Gold is a remake of Wing Commander: Privateer only. There is another project very much worth looking into: The Wing Commander Saga (wcsaga.com). This is a total conversion mod of Freespace 2 and is set in the WC 3 timeline, but with an original story and characters. They've completed a few tech demo's, as well as a complete Prologue mini-campaign. I highly recommend it.
