I am having problems sharing my drive on the network. When i try to i get a warning box titled sharing.

It says "An error occured when trying to share H. The server service is not started. The shared resource was not created at this time."

I checked in the services under administrative tools and cannot see the server service at all.

I am running xp pro corp with sp1. I also have sp2 on cd but havent installed yet as i heard it interfers with games. Could sp2 fix it?

Cheers

Yeah i think so. I sorted it though, i just shared invidual folders on my storage drive instead of the entire drive. Seems to have worked.

Thanks for the quick reply jlanka.
