Hey folks,
Just got through FLASHing my BIOS. Successfully I might add. Now I've got Multiplier combinations up the Yin-Yang! ) I've got possibilities from 100/100 all the way up to 200/200.
My question, is it safe to say I can run the highest rated Socket A Athlon XP possible and would it be also safe to run higher rated RAM?
Take into account that the ECS K7S5A Pro is only meant to run up to a 2600+ w/266 and PC2100 RAM.
But now that the BIOS is "open" is it theoretically possible to do what I mentioned above. I already spoke to Crashman about this board but that was before I updated the BIOS.
I need input.
THX and Happy Holidays!!!
