Can i run mass effect 2

i have dual 9800gt in sli with 4gb memory and a dual core 3.0ghz cpu. i can run crysis ok. dead space and borderlands come in pretty good. even though i thought mass effect 1 is not as demanding as these game there is very noticable screen-tearing and pop-ins, is this because of the game or my rig? is my computer goin to handle mass effect 2 any better or am i gunna have to sacrifice graphics for gameplay in whitch i might as well get it for xbox? any help is great thankyou
