I was thinking of picking up this mobo cpu combo for my sisters computer. She really doesn't do squat on it except type papers and chat so I figured this is probably a pretty good deal. The only problem is that I don't have any experience with this motherboard. Anyone else have any experience with this mobo manu?

Never heard of this company but I did find some reputable merchants at pricewatch selling this brand. For the money though you could probably get a better processor for the same or a little more. Via chipset's aren't bad for general use so you should be ok there.

Not for that price it is $62.00 before tax. You could get a much better board for around $100.00 to $140.00 dollars.
If this system is for your sister it sounds like it will be an ongoing project for you so alleviate the headaches early and put in some proper base components.
From the picture in the link I can see right through the board masking right at the copper base. That in it's self tells me the manufacturing process used for this board is really low end. The fact that they only have a 1 thousands of an inch clear conformal coating on it explains why it is a low end card. The board specs are low even for today's standards. In Russia that board might be state of the art but in North America it is a Frisbee.
