Will wii work in russia

If I purchase a wii here in Ireland will it work in Russia

Since in Europe all the games are in PAL format you won't have any trouble with reading games. The voltage is 220V in all of Europe I believe, so I don't think you'll have any problems there either.
I bought my Wii in England and brought over to Vietnam (I used to live there) and got it chipped to read PAL (Europe) and NTSC (US and Asia) games.
