I'm planning to upgrade my A7V266-E system to the highest CPU available for this board. Asus' web site mentions the Athlon XP 2600+ with FSB266 as the highest applicable CPU but the only XP2600s I can find are with 333MHz FSB. Is the FSB266 version no longer manufactured by AMD? Should I go with the XP2400+ instead?
Since I'm now running an XP1900+ on a system with 256MB RAM and WinXP, will the performance upgrade be noticeable?

Go with the xp2400. The 2600 at 266 is somewhat rare, and the price differance isn't worth it.
