I am buying a new system and was goign to go with an P4 2.6C and and Antec IS7 and Kingston 3700 DDR - apon reviewing my specs at another message board someone stated that the IS7 does not support memory over 3200 spped. Can anyone confirm this - and if so what is another good bang for your buck MOBO I can use with the P4 2.6C and 3700 speed memory?

thanks in advance

I find that hard to belive that a mobo will not support a ram that can do over 3200. Most of the time the support line draws on pin config (DUH!) and banks. Should be able to put pc3700 ram in, just wont do over 3200 speeds till you change the system clock.

Segata 80gb SATA 8.5ms seek

The IS7 supports pc3700 RAM but it will run at PC3200 speeds, untill you increase the FSB of your system which will in overclock the CPU aswell.

PC3500, 3700, 4000, 4200, 4500, are all supported as PC3200 by these types of boards. These are overclocking memory types, meaning you can use them as PC3200 but have enough room to overclock them to their rated speed.
