my problem is that i can't even start the game
when i load the game, i start new game, the opening scene comes on and then my pc shuts down
i discover my fuse in my plug has blown
this is the only game this happens with
any idea why, i have replaced the fuse and turned it back on and the same thing happened

os - win xp 64
psu - fractal design r2 650w
graphics - hd 2gb 4850 x2
ram - 2gb corsair ddr3
motherboard - asus m4a78t-e

psu i'd say is underpowered/low quality. Have u checked for blown caps on mobo or vid card? Is your cpu overclocked?

my psu is a fractal design 650w - best you can buy, over 100 quid and it's the fuse in my plug that gets blown when the game is on, no other game does this

my psu is over a 100 quid and a single rail which i believe are the best psu's
and it is the plugs fuse, nothing wrong with the mobo or vid card, cpu is not overclocked
