I bought a new used motherboard, which probably isn't very smart but my parents don't believe in credit cards so its hard to find computer stuff. But the motherboard I bought was a "ASUS A7N8X-X ATX"...and I was wondering if it was any good, I payed $50, is it worth the price?

Yes. It is good. Its single channel PATA only - and many have been getting that board to "hold over" until A64 matures. It's alot like the Soltek NV400 L64 which I like a tad better.
