I recently upgraded my comp with MSI's K7N2 Delta ILSR mobo, and an amd 2600+

When I started the whole thing up, though, I was surprised to see that the FSB was only running at 133mhz, despite being set to 166 in the BIOS (which is the standard, I believe). This resulted in a clock speed of ~1500mhz, probably about 400-500 less than what I should be getting. (I think the multiplier is locked at 11.5.) After a futile attempt to alter the fsb to its correct amount, I tried flashing the bios (to v. 7.6) in the hopes that this might help. Instead it has hindered things further: the fsb is now at a pitiful 100mhz (1150mhz), and the bios settings still don't appear to be taking effect.

I'm really not sure what else to do at this point, other than returning the motherboard.

Any ideas?

Your board will begin with a low FSB setting out-of-the-box. In addition, just about any time you flash a BIOS, it will restart in safe mode (the lowest, most stable settings possible), and it's up to you to re-adjust them. Are you saving the BIOS settings upon exit, or just hitting the reset button on the front of your case? When all else fails, check that big paper thingey that came with your board. It might have directions in it.
