With this mobo and an athlon XP 2200+ processor, what is the best RAM to get? The mobo supports DDR400 Dual Channel memory, but what is the FSB speed of the 2200?? If its only 166, wouldn't it be better to get DDR333 memory?

Spec:
Intel P4 2.4B
MSI 645E Max-U Mobo
512MB DDR333
GF3 ti200 64MB
SB Live 5.1
WD 60GB (Storage)
Maxtor 6GB (System)
Maxtor 120GB
LG 24x24x32 CDR
WIN2K PRo SP4

2200+ runs at 133 MHz FSB (266 MHz DDR)

It's best to run memory sync with FSB. PC2700 CL2.5 is recommended for you. It will work as PC2100 CL2.0

While Spitfire is right about pc2100 and pc2700, I would recommend the pc3200/DDR400. In the event of an upgrade to an xp3000 or 3200, you will still have usable ram. The pc 3200 is only a few $ more, but could save a lot. Again, the ram should be run at the same speed as the fsb.
