Will you please inform me how to make 7205 granitebay chipset works stable in 200 mhz. I was using 2x256(266 mhz) rams in 133mhz before, but now I had 2x512 Kingston khx3700(466 mhz-CAS2)performance rams which I could only let them work 160 mhz on my Asus P4G8X(7205)Deluxe board.
Thanks for your interest...
Ps: *I try 2 different 400mhz ram, nothing has changed.
* Power supply: 400w EverPower
* Bios update version: 1006
* CPU P4 2.66 800 mhz<P ID="edit"><FONT SIZE=-1><EM>Edited by fogfog on 01/18/04 08:56 PM.</EM></FONT></P>

Some folks have been able to run their 7205 boards overclocked at 200. But this chipset wasn't originally designed for the "c" series 800 cpus. All I can suggest is to try the slowest ram timings when you attempt to post at 200. Case 2.5 and higher numerical settings might get it to work.
