If this is a double post forgive me. I did a search though.
Anyway. I am building a P4 2.8 for my brother. (my first Pentium build setup, i usually build mid AMD systems). So I was wondering if anyone had personal preffreces on the Asus P4C800 and the Abit IC7?
I know the Abit has the gigabit lan and Dule raid, but there is no intention to use either. So for the same price anyone have any input for me?

It seems that every time I reboot my wallet gets smaller. I append: No longer interested in speed, just the mere idea that everything should perform at its full potential.

Either will do your bidding just fine. Question is do you wanna brag you have an Abit board or an ASUS board.

Good point, I've heard that the Abit software bundles are outdated and lack fuction compaired to ASUS

Neither, the Abit IS7 is better than both and cost half as much.
