While this kid is obviously very special and gifted, it's a shame that he wants to be a systems engineer. An intellect like his would be put to better use in theoretical physics, or biomedical engineering.

even this a repost, it's new to me.

Wow, that kid's pretty incredible. I had a hard enough time learning 2 languages, and he's working on his fourth. And he's a computer whiz to boot.

All of his talents, and he still has time to help the disabled. Good job, kid. I hope he goes far.

How come all these "prodigies" and "child geniuses" are never heard from again? I've seen so many cases of people talking about these kids who can speak 5 languages and understand nuclear physics, but I never hear about them doing anything.

Don't get me wrong, this kid is incredible, but we'll see if his priorities shift when he hits his late teens.

One thing I have learned about these types is to take them with a grain of salt. There are prodigies out there but the "token" types are either frauds or are limited to just one area or skill set. It is a shame that most of the talent out there is wasted before ever being realized. Corporate America only standardizes while the creativity get stifled.

Live your dream kid, and don't let the thumbsuckers in life bring you down. They're just trying to steal your dream because they're too gutless to follow their own.

Because once they're an adult, they're no longer as interesting. There are lots of genius adults in various fields who are unrecognized for their work. Their intellect could also be a fluke of early development and reach an adult level, but then taper off and stay at an adult level from then on. A child genius doesn't necessarily become an adult genius.

Sooooo... he learned about computers instead of playing video games when he was kid. What makes him special? The video did not show anything even marginally interesting.

I want to see how he can get good quality HD video with just half a mbps speeds.

totally agree on this one! but i'll just keep it to myself so that way I feel much smarter :)  people/kids like this, i can only hope is one day like a child that I may have.

but this still strives me to learn as much as I can about my field of interest, so although I may not be the smartest as a young'en, I can be one of the best when I'm older! (hopefully)

Pulled from another article about this same kid:

"The one thing he doesn't do? Video games. As he says, 'There is nothing serious about playing games on computers. If you want to play, go outside and play with your friends.'"

Sorry kiddo, you just lost a lot of credibility with that statement. Nobody minds if you don't like video games, but when you start making condescending, blanket judgments towards people, that says a lot more about your character than some certifications do.

Before several months, Tom's Hardware reported some possible Core names for some semiconductor company, and one of the names was "Alexander". Writer back then wrote that this may came from... Alexander the Makedofski!!

Afterwards, there was a second article with reference in 'Macedonia' (and not FYR Macedonia), and now, in a single article, 3 times, Macedonia! Nice work, who's your major shareholder, perhaps Mr. Sorros? :p
