Problem With MW2

Hi guys, I'm having a what for me is a big problem with MW2. 2 in 2 min my image gets full of strips and i can't see anything, but the game is still running because the sound continues normal. When i get back to windows (ALT+TAB) and then back to the game the image turns good again for more 1 min, and then stripped again.
I'm new on this things can please somebody help me, i'm getting really *%&0# about this.

OK, before we can help you any further you need to give us your system specs, ie: GPU and CPU most importantly. This may sound silly but it's always an option - if you know that your computer is capable of running the game, have you updated your GPU drivers? If not got to ATI website or NVIDIA website depending on your GPU. Hope that helps.
