Abit AA8 Duramax

Hello , I just installed windows 8 on this old pc I had with a abit aa8 duramax mb .. and I cannot get the audio drivers to work .. no matter what website I download them from .. are there any windows 8 audio drivers for this board or should I just revert back to windows xp

abit went under a long time ago, 8years maybe? I doubt there are any win8 drivers.

There definitely won't be any Windows 8 specific drivers for Abit boards. They did indeed go under a long time ago. Either get yourself a separate audio card that you can install that has Windows 8 drivers, upgrade the entire box (it might be time for that anyway), or stick with Windows 7 on that system, assuming you have a license for it of course.
