Hey I just got my new system up and running and I"m not sure if theres something I need to do to get the temp sensors set up. Theyre reading me at about 41c just doing usual stuff like typing this. Anyways, was talking to somone and they said i need to like calibrate my temp sensors or something. Also I'm still installing games and such so I can't tell ya what its running at with a full load, but aren't there some programs I can use? I remember hearing about that but I don't know which to get, I'm dloading 3dmark03 right now as we speak to see how I'm doin.

Any info you guys can give for me would be appriciated, I'm just new to building my own system and installing clean windows and such. Thanks for the info that some people like me might not know :)

If you're running a hardware monitoring program that came with the motherboard, you don't have to calibrate it. Motherboard monitor 5 has several settings that do require calibration with the bios hardware monitor. 41 celcius isn't bad for your setup.

what?

MBM might be getting the right reading from the sensor...but if the cpu thermal sensor is not calibrated then it will always read the wrong thing.

zental: You are a bad googler...leme find the website, and i did not say you had to calibrate ur sensor i just stated that they are far from accurate in most cases.
