Ok currently I have an ASUS A7V333 Rev1.0
I would like to upgrade to something with a Nforce2 chipset VIA is ok also. I don't know much about SiS. The mobo must support at least up to Athalon XP 3200. I'm not concerned about the 64bit stuff. Must have atleast 2 RAID's, and also 2 stand IDE ports. I'm also not concerned with the new SATA's. Though it is great. I am really only upgrading to take advantage of a cpu I can't use on my current mobo. So I'm bascially taking things out of my old mobo and putting them into this new one. APG8X would be cool. Over all I think the RAID's and 2 IDE channels are most important. I have (2)Maxtor 100Gb HD's and (1) Maxtor 200Gb HD. (1)CDROM,(1) DVD-ROM, & (1) CDRW. The CD based drives I like to run on the standard IDE ports. While the HD's get the RAID's to themselves.

So I'm asking what you guys like or don't like. As far as Manufacture & Chipsets. If you also have any better ideas to help me make my decision would be great.

Thanks

I started a thread a week ago about ABIT NF7 and AN7, and my needs are close to yours... AN7 is what was promoted...
