Lo,

anyone got a link for the most up to date chipset driver for an Asus A7N8X board? I'm just a little confused between the different driver versions from Nvidia for Nforce2 boards.

At Nvidia's driver page? Just be careful with the SW IDE Driver. It's optional and causes problems for some people.

There are quite a few people with certain DVD-RWs, CD-RWs, and hard drives that have problems with even the latest SW IDE Driver (3.66). The problems are most common with DVD-RWs. If you choose no to installing the SW IDE driver, it just installs the In-the-Box IDE Driver (3.58), which offers very similar performance.

My CD-RW works perfectly with the 3.66 SW IDE driver; however, it wouldn't burn for more than 8 seconds with the 3.44 Driver. I just wanted to give him a heads-up because a lot of people on the nForcersHQ forum are still having problems with the 3.66 SW IDE Driver with their hardware configurations.

Right now I'm using one of the remix driver sets that has a newer audio driver and an older ethernet driver (the latest ethernet driver causes CPU usage spikes).
