Greets,

Just a very quick question as I didn't follow the Abit lineage of the nF2 boards.

I've heard that nowadays all NF7's are 2.0.
-Is or was there a NF7 lower than this?
-Does this have anything to do with the nF2 DDR400 (SPP vs SPP 2.0) issue?
-What are the chances (good or bad) of buying a new NF7 board (on a vendor/retailer) that is NOT a 2.0?

Thanx

-- I did use to have a Signature line, but it was to lame, so I removed it and replaced by this crap --

NF7 v1.x was built with nForce2 SPP. This version doesn't supprt 200 MHz FSB officially. NF7 v1.x production has stopped right after the launch of v2.0, and it's quite long time ago. So it's very unlikely that you will get NF7 v1.x instead of v2.0

v1.x doesn't support 200 MHz FSB (400 Mhz DDR, effective) officially and it usually doesn't overclock 200+ FSB level. v2.0 mobos support 200 MHz FSB officially and often overclock 200+ FSB level
