I have a SaintSong Cappuccino TX3 mini computer with a 1.2 gig Celeron chip in it. I remember reading somewhere that these units can fit up to a 1.3 gig PIII, but I haven't anything in the docs or elsewhere to confirm what I had read.

Does anyone know if this can be done? There are no clock settings available in the BIOS SETUP options, so I would imagine the system just recognizes X or Y chips and adjusts itself accordingly. Here's some info on the hardware (from an AIDA32 report):

CPU Type: Intel Celeron-S, 1200 MHz (12 x 100)
Chipset: Intel Solano i815E
System Memory: 512 MB (PC133 SDRAM)

BIOS Type: AMI (04/24/02)
BIOS Properties: Vendor American Megatrends Inc.
Version: 07.00T
Release Date: 04/02/01

Motherboard Properties:
Manufacturer: SaintSong
Product: Cappuccino G2
Version: 1.0

Any info on this would be appreciated. I'm gonna look around and see if I can snatch a PIII from an old machine at work if this is possible. Strangely enough, I looked online and found the 1.3 gig PIII still on sale, but quite highly priced for this day and age at $200

Thanks again for any help with this.
