Hello

Well, I messed up good. Was buying pieces off ebay, the listing said it was an Intel board from Gateway. Silly me didn't figure it out that what the seller didn't realize is that it's a Gateway board with an Intel chipset (440bx).

I'm trying to hook up the front panel, but the only pins that are labeled are the power switch pins. I don't much care about the reset button, but would sure be nice to have the power light and HD led work.

Can you help? The panel diagram is here: <A HREF="http://support.gateway.com/s/MOTHERBD/INTEL/m00264/M0026422.shtml" target="_new">http://support.gateway.com/s/MOTHERBD/INTEL/m00264/M0026422.shtml</A>

Do the leds just need a power and a ground pin? What happens if two power pins are connected, can that short out the motherboard?

Thanks guys, it's an older motherboard but it'll still be faster then what I have.
