Monitor for GeForce 2 Ultra

Okay, I have a 1.2 Athlon with a GeForce 2 Ultra that I am in process of getting...now I need a monitor to complement my gaming needs. The problem...I only want to spend around 350$ max...now you prolly think im screwed..but I have access to a free 19in Dell Trinitron UltraScan P990....It retails for around 549....here are it's spec's: http://www.support.dell.com/docs/m [...] /specs.htm

Now what I want to know, am I better off spending like 250$ or so and getting a used sucky 19incher to replace this Dell comp...and take the 19incher...or should i spend around 350$ and maybe get a real good refurbished 17 incher....The UltraScan p990 is 20in monitor, 18 inch view area....I'm not good with monitor spec's..so if someone who is could take a look at those spec's and give me their opinion on what to do.
