Shut Down Problem ??

Installed latest Win/2000 Service Pack 4 on my Desktop PC, passed all tests, went to Shut Down my computer and It just Restarts !! Only way to shut it down is to hit the On and off button?? Any ideas as to what is causing this problem?? Thanks in advance for any help :< .

Reloaded my 2000 O/S and problem was eliminated. Will not update to Service Pack 4 again :< .

Could be an old version of Roxio CD creator. There was a version 5 that had this effect on some configurations, and they have a fix on their site.
