  1. Abit NF7-S has the nforce north bridge and the mcp-t south bridge. Solid stable board with great features at a very reasonable price.

  5. Hi Snaggle, just so you know. The 2X 1394 ports they refer to on the NF7-S are actually IEEE 1394a firewire brackets.

I do know;but its the an7 which has the firewire;not the nf-s;which is why I posted the specifications for both mobos,the an7 also overclocks well;but the nf7-s is the darling of overclockers-which is why it has jumped from $85 to $101 at newegg in the last week-oh if only stocks would do as well!

  8. The AN7 is a minor upgrade from the NF7-S. If I could get it for not much more than the NF7-S, I would.
