Abit NF7-S v.2 chipset

Quick question. In the article on this site titled "10 mobos with the nForce2 Ultra400", the Abit NF7-S version 2 is listed - so it seeems this board uses the nForce2 Ultra400 Chipset. However, everywhere I look, under "chipset", the ultra400 is not listed. On Newegg, for example, the chipset is simply listed as "nForce 2" without the Ultra400. Which chipset does the Abit NF7 v.2 use? Ultra400 or no? Thank you for any information.

It's the Ultra 400. The Ultra 400 is the 400MHz approved version of the old SPP northbridge. Revision 2 is 400MHz approved, therefor all they did was switch to the newer northbridge (on the same exact board) and update the BIOS.

Most companies list the Rev. 1 specs on the Rev. 2 for some reason, probably laziness.
