Aloha dudes and duddettes,
I'm wondering if i could burn small home movie clips to a CD Burner and play it to another CD WITHOUT the use of a DVD player and just play the movie on a CD drive? Is that possible? I tried on my Nero 6 Ultra but it doesn't support "Movies to record on CDs".

Please any help is appreciated!

Mahalo,
Scotty

Thanks and mahalo,
Scotty

Ok im not exactly sure what you mean, but I assume what you wanna do is put movie files on a CD and then play that CD on a different computer?
What format are the movies in at the moment? If they are in .avi or .mpg then pretty much any computer with media player or DivX installed will be able to play them.

There are two ways to do this.

As has been mentioned, record it as a specific format, AVI, DIVX, etc. and then burn it as a Data CD.

Or, you can burn it as a VCD-CD (MPEG1) or SVCD-CD (MPEG2). You will see that option in Nero6 as video CD. There are actually about 4-6 VCD formats but reallly those two should be good enough.

Here's a link to a primer on using Nero's Video Vision which is Part of NEro 6 Ultra;

But like it says, NERO's not really meant for this type of thing, it just happens to have the tools for you to do it.

If you have a editor of some kind it should allow you to save it for VCD or export to CD, and then you simply burn that to CD using NERO.
