Arrrgggg!!!!.....OC system doesn't like me!

humm...well I seem to be followed by bad luck in making good choices. My comp is a follows
Asus P4C800 Deluxe
512 MB OCZ DDR533 Dual Ch.
Asus Radeon 9800 Pro 256
Maxtor D8 40gb hd
Audigy Gamer
The problem is is that I like to OC and this stuff doesn't agree!!! My vid card only ocs to 400/730 without artifacts, and my CPU only goes from 2.6 to 3.12 !! But I want more power out of my parts, Would water cooling allow my vid and CPU to attain higher clock speeds????

OverKill is not defined by the power you use, but by the power you have to spare....

hmm.. 240FSB is quite high.. Have you considered a better northbridge cooler? I would hazard a guess that that's your problem at the moment.

Assuming of course that you've tried upping voltages here and there.

I guess just Bad luck on the Radeon OC though - you could try getting some RAMsinks and fitting a better GPU cooler maybe...
