TIA for some help/explaining.

I have a friend who has an HP laptop, I have one also but different
wireless internals. She was out of town and somehow messed up her
configuration.

PC wont recognize her AP. MY L/T connects right up to her AP good to
go. Hers does not even see it as an active wireless network. I have
covered the basics as I know them:

Connection is enabled and all configurations seem "normal" push the
front button and the blue light goes off and network connection shows
disabled, push again and it is enabled.

Probably not giving anyone much to go on but this seems like it should
be a pretty basic situation, network enabled, detect wireless
network, tell me if it is open access or not and away we go??

FYI their AP is wide open which I need to talk to them about so there
should be no fancy things needed to access I would think.
