duplex printing laserjet 2300dn

Just connected my LJ2300dn to my network (hardwired to router). Previously
when it was connected via LPT1 auto duplex printing was available. Now only
manual duplex printing is available. All settings checked and are as
previous. I can modify settings either through printer's IP address or
through manual front panel and all changes are reflected in printer
properties window.

The same applies to either the desktop which is hard wired to the router or
the laptop which is connected to the network via wireless (11g).

Any help would be most appreciated. (BTW there is no problem printing from
either computer and ping to the printer works OK from either computer.)
