Chances are it's pure coincidence because it makes no difference to a router which Operating System it's dealing with. Firstly, is it switched on at the wall and on its own switch and showing any lights at all? If it is, go to Internet Explorer and type 192.168.0.1 in the address bar and hit Enter. At the login page type admin as the login and sky as the password and tick to save them for future use. Run the diagnostics and see what it reports.
