What is the difference here 4/4 vs. 6/6... seems like I am getting better results with 4/4, but what is the difference with these settings...

This is a common question. Mathematically, of course, they are the same. But, like you, many have found one ratio works better than the others. Most people seem to find 5/5 works the best. Might try that as well in your benchmarking tests.

I have never seen a good explaination as to what the difference is and/or why one works better than another.

Hmmm... I will try 5/5, but I will not really know anything until I do the L12 mod, for I have a mobile barton 2600+, and even though I can post about 210, I have not been prime95 stable...

I think the pci/agp bus is just locked, period... so it is weird... I think the settings on this board only affect ram/cpu...
