Or at least I think so... I've just replaced my old MSI 745 Ultra with this board and Im currently running my 1700+ Tbred B at 13x166 (2166Mhz) where as before selecting anything above 12.5 for a multiplier would result in a very low multi (around 6 I think) - I haven't modded the chip at all. Im currently running at 1.75 volts and it idles at 42C and gets to about 48 at full load. But I can run 12x166 at 1.65v if i need to . I've tried 13.5x166 for 2.25Ghz at 1.75v but it won't get past the Windows Loading screen, and on air cooling I'm not ready to push it to 1.8v yet  . Any thoughts on why the higher multi's work on this board?

Ooop's I better change that! Its a Tbred B 1700+ 0302 (Don't know any more). Quite OLd now, but I bought it to replace my 2000+ Plomino because I knew it would overclock well. 2700+ is certainly good enough for me at the moment!

Wow, your mobo can manipulate the 5th bit without modding L3-5 or using a wire mod. Cool!

Did you ever try the 5th bit wire mod on your old board (some boards also needed 4th bit or 3rd bit to set a valid default multiplier)? I'm curious if it works on SIS chipsets.

If your week 0302 processor is anything like mine you'll need 2.15 volt to run stable at 2.25 Ghz. I don't recommend it. IIRC, I could run up to 2 Ghz with 1.7 volt, 2.1 Ghz needs 1.8 volt, and 2.25 ghz needed a huge jump to that 2.15 volt.

8th multiplier bit? That would be funny, 2^8 multipliers.

I didnt know what I was talking about hehe. I do believe my chup could reach 2.25Ghz with 1.8v, in fact I might try it for an hour or so, just see what happens. I never tried any mods on my old board apart from a wire mod to get a multi of 15 to give me a 2400+, I didn't really feel like cutting my chip. Another thing that surprised me is that on this board I can run my Crucial PC2700 RAm at 2-2-2-6 at 166FSB, whereas I could only do 2.5-3-3-7 on my old board (even though I couldnt run 166FSB for prolonged periods of time).
