So I installed a new hdd, windows 7 64, and downloaded the new 10.3 catalyst driver for my 5770 video card. I then installed crysis warhead. Now the game shows 17xx by 1050 or something close to that as the max res. My monitors max res is 1920x1080. Before I installed windows 7 and the new driver I was playing crysis at 1920x1080. Now when I play crysis there is a black strip around the outside of the picture. Anybody ever have this issue?

I've never played Warhead, so forgive me if this is irrelevant. On Crysis, there is a slider next to the resolution list that is almost invisible as it's small and green and just looks like the menu's background. Before I realised this slider was there, I thought the max resolution for the game was 1600x1200 - when I found the slider, I then found the 1920x1200 option below it.

Is it just a case that the new drivers have given you more resolution options, which has pushed the one you want off the bottom of the list and you need to use the slider to scroll down and find it?

Yeah. I noticed that also. Basically you have to drag a slider all the way down to get to the top resolutions.
Another weird bug I noticed sometimes is that the mouse is off-set when ontop of the menus.
