A friend of mine has a NVIDIA 7300 GO AGP and wants to run SimCity 4 on his machine. During installation SimCity doesn't create the necessary files under the "My Documents" folder. After installation SimCity doesn't want to run at all.

Please Help!

I have one game that installs files in 'my documents' folder, namely civilization4 'beyond the sword'. However as the previous poster says, all games should also install necessary files in 'programs' and/or 'games' folders.

Incidentally, despite playing civ4 for most of the last 6 months, I have yet to win a game against it. currently taking a short break from it while playing il2 online. certainly beats world of warcraft anyway.
