Hi all,
I am having a problem with an Asus P4C800-E Deluxe motherboard and a Pentium 4C 3.2Ghz FSB 800, both are brand new.
I have a boot failure: when the computer starts, with only the motherboard, the CPU and the power supply unit, the motherboard gives the following POST message: SYSTEM FAILED CPU TEST. The failure happens as well with all the other components attached (DDR memory, hard-drive, etc...).
I have checked if the CPU was correctly installed, and it is.
Could the motherboard have a problem? Or the CPU?
Thanks for any help!
