I've had this i5 for about 2 months. I delidded it and the temps are exceptional, I'm only selling because of voltage. I was hoping for a chip that would hit 5.0GHz and this one won't do that without dangerous voltage and extreme cooling. Works great at 4.5GHz, I can run prime95 all day with a max temp of 75C using an Antec Kuhler 620 in push/pull. I went out and bought another chip and it has better voltage so I'm selling this one. It is not damaged in any way at all. If it doesn't work you can get refunded, the chip is 100% functional.
It is delidded, so the IHS is loose. I can tack it down with the same rubber adhesive Intel used in the first place or I can leave it loose if you want to mess with it or try your own favorite TIM. I used Cool Labs Liquid Pro and it dropped my temps by 15C over the Antec Formula 7 I originally used. The Antec Formula 7 dropped my temps 5C from stock. So that is a ~20C improvement from stock. It will come with original box and heatsink if you would like.
