The game has been out for over a week now, some of the people on this forum have been there done that and are more than just slightly aware of what that title needs to run.

Running it on max settings with crossfire 5850's at 1680x1050

Q6600
8gig DDR 800

Although I strangely prefer it in DX10 mode rather than 11, aiming seems far smoother as you dont get the screen blur (depth of field) being a bit heavy.

I ran it max setting 1680x1050 with E5200 2.5gig, gtx 260 216shader and 4 gigs of ram. It was sort of unplayable when in combat so I put the graphics down to high instead of ultra high. So far it's fine when walking around the town and talking to people. Haven't had any hard combat yet so we'll see.

The game looks promising though. Only played it for 30 minutes and so far it's great. Like stalker, it's not user friendly. I didn't even know it autosaved and was afraid to leave the game.

Hey guys.. This game doesn't require that high of a system.

I ran the game fine on 1680x1050 High setting when I had my E5200 2.5gig dual core, GTX 260 216 shader, 4gigs ddr2 667 ram.

Now I have a Phenom II x4 955 black edition @3.2ghz, 4 gigs DDR3 1333mhz ram and GTX 260 216shader I run the game at 1680x1050 Ultra High setting and it runs great.

I think those specifications are too high. You don't need a super high system to run this game.

Oh and I have since finished the game. It takes about 2-3days. It was fun at first, but got repetitive during the middle. The story doesn't really make sense either. There aren't too many weapons in the game and the bullet system can be confusing sometimes.
