Will this motherboard work with this memory?

Hi, I am going to buy Asus A7N8X-E Deluxe nForce2 (Socket A) Motherboard (MB-050-AS) (full details are further down) from The memory i want to buy for it is Kingston HyperX 1GB (2x512MB) DDR PC3200 (KHX3200K2/1G) CAS2.0 Dual Channel Kit (MY-012-KS) again from

Now it says on the motherboard it supports DDR 400 dual channel memory. However if i go to the Kingston website and see the memory compatible with this motherboard its not there (!

Hmm.. That seems curious, and all the ram listed is the slower cas 2.5 or worse. But some mobo's are picky about ram. Maybe it has been found that these two don't play well together?

You might wanna go to say, nForcersHQ and naivgate to the asus section and run a search to see if that is indeed the situation.

I am now going to buy this from According to the Corsair website it will work fine with the above motherboard
