Gaming Wireless Microphone and/or headset?

I've been playing FPS for a while now, and its been long overdue to get myself a microphone to talk to other's. I have a 2.1 system set up which music typically plays out of while I'm gaming.

Ultimately, my desk is already cluttered I would prefer to get something WIRELESS.

Now I'm not sure if I should buy a headset or a stationary microphone.
-Often I run around the house for small things, I don't want to take the headset on/off
-I frequently play at evenings/night, but I'm trying to cut down due to bad sleeping habits
I would like the flexibility of having a microphone / headset. Most likely I would like both...

My current setup an hour after I clean it up everything... basically it gets messy as fast as i clean it up

Umm... Well, how much are you willing to pay for a wireless headset w/ mic?

**edit** you may have wanted to post this in the peripherials or a different area. This has to do more with actual "game" issues. You may get more replies.

Ideally I would like to spend around $50, no more than $140. I'm looking at a 5+ year investment so price isn't so much of an issue if it will last.
