Ok I'm having a problem with the bios reporting the correct cpu. It's a Asus A7N8X-E Deluxe with a XP2600+. It's reporting that I'm running a 1.1 Ghz which is not correct. Here's what the bios is set to and need to know which one I need to change. BTW the XP2600+ that was purchased has the 512k of cache but it's a 333FSB or at least it doesn't say on the retail box.

CPU External Freq. (Mhz) - 100 Mhz
CPU Frequency Multiple Setting - Auto
CPU Frequency Multiple - 11.5 This is greyed out
System Performance - Optimal
CPU Interface - Optimal
Memory Frequency - By SPD
Resulting Frequency - 166 Mhz This is greyed out

This is what I've listed cause I'm sure my problem is in here.

Ok I see a mistake I made. It DIDN'T say 333 FSB on the retail box. I also purchased a AMD XP2600+ that had the 333FSB but only the 256k cache and the 333FSB was stated on the box. Should i still increase the FSB?

the 333 is 166DDR, double data rate. 333 is not the frequency, it's yhe speed that data is moved. 166 is the frequency. So, since the bus is DDR, then you have to double the frequency to have the data rate of 333... 166 X 2=333.
