Hey man. Good to hear from ya again :smile:

I'm by no means a beach bum. I have the world's worst farmer's tan. I just went there today to relax, read a bit, get some beach food, get out of the house, and to even up the tan. (even when I'm sitting on my ass I'm multitasking hehe)

Yeah, I had my first two days off in a row this summer just this past weekend. I didn't know what to do with myself. They were also days 5 and 6 off for the entire summer so far (since mid april). I took the afternoon today to relax a bit. I'm definitely feeling much more rested.

The family is great. Still no grandfather, drat.
I have been riding every chance I get which is not as much
as I would like.

I'm doing part time right now. I'll probably do more part time at my 3d animation school in the fall and spring and continue to work. I have to save money for the full time 3d animation program as I don't have $25000 kickin around... (damn lotto machine didn't pick the right numbers again hehe).

So I'll be doing part time all year around until hopefully next year in october, by which time I should have enough money saved up to do the full time program.

I don't drop the hints, my wife does that enough for the both of us but she is pretty cool about it
as she still remembers the way her mother was. :smile:
I wish I could get paid to ride full time. I predict a couple in a couple of years you will be grining
with bugs all over your teeth also.

Yeah, living by a beach sure is nice. And we're lucky to have a lot of them, and they're all different.

White Rock beach is known as "the strip" as it's a straight beach, with a long pier, and a ton of restaurants/shops etc right along it. Great beach for the night life.

Crescent Beach is fairly quiet, and very relaxing.

Kitsilano Beach (where those pics are taken) is "the place" really. Tons of chicks, beach volleyball leagues, you name it.

English Bay downtown (the beach there of course). Close to Robson street, great view, home of the fireworks (which are coming up soon hehe)

Wreck Beach is just down a cliff from UBC. It's the nudie beach hehe.


There's TONS of others too.

Yeah, I did. I'm reading The Bourne Identity. Thought I'd read the book first cause I hate it when the movie spoils it.

I read the book when it first came out. The movie IMO is very good but didn't follow the original book.

I don't want to spoil it for you. It follows the book most of the time but the changes are good.
It is also different from the first movie that came out with Richard Chamberlain years ago. Reading
the book does fill in some gaps in the movie that aren't explained.
