Hello,

About a month ago, IE began loading up on it's own when the pc is turned on and reaches windows.

I have not put it in my startup and i don't know of any program I got that has an option for IE to start by itself.

Friend said it may be in my registry somewhere.

Does anyone know a system utility program that could help me stop IE from running automatically? (or ideas as to why it may be happening)

Regards,

Sanjay

Strange, is it by any chance in your startup group?

do start>run>type in msconfig and hit ok
go to the startup tab and look for iexplore.exe, uncheck it.
