nforce2 Problem, need help please

I'm getting a message everytime I try to play C&C to please insert correct cd-rom. I tried to change the device settings for the IDE ATA controllers to PIO mode but the settings won't stay, it just goes back to Bios default. Anyone know how to get this setting to stay? I really need help this is driving me crazy! I'm using the gigabyte 7n400-L board. I have done this before and it worked, but I had to reinstall windows and now its not working.

I you download the latest ide drivers from nvidia, you will have an option to either let the BIOS to decide or not the transfer mode. I think they are version 4.12

go to GameCopyWorld.com and find a No-CD crack for it. it's not illegal if you own the game. I crack all my games just so I don't have to root around for CDs all the time.

I got the problem fixed! I went and downloaded the drivers from the gigabyte website but it didn't work. i never even thought to check nvidia and so I read somewhere(because my post wasn't showing up)to download them from nvidia. Well, that did the trick. Thanks for your help guys. If I wouldn't have found the answer I would have got it here anyways.
