Hello friends.. I am back to the forum after a long absence, thanks for your support and help. I have an Acer Aspire One netbook running Windows 7. I got it few weeks ago from OfficeMax through a discount deal available at http://www.dealrocker.com/promotions/officemax/deals/. Yesterday I picked up a Cabela's Outdoor Adventures game and when I try to load the game it says "Requested API(7) not found. Reason: vertex shader 3.0 not supported." Can anyone tell me what does this mean? BTW I am using an external CD/DVD drive.
I appreciate any assistance.
Sounds like the video chip in the netbook won't run the game.
It means the game requires a gpu/graphics card with shader 3. Obviously your netbook graphics only has shader 2 this is not a software issues it's a hardware issue.
