I just bought a new HDTV, which im using as a monitor. The max resolution of it is 1920x1080. My problem is that every game I play except for Crysis has a maximum resolution of 1600 x 1200- Which I can't use, and the next highest without widescreen is 1280 x1024. Is there anyway I can get the game resolution to 1920x 1080 in these games? They are Oblivion, Unreal Tournaament 3, MW2, Dragon Age. etc.

Well for starters you bought a HDTV, not a computer monitor. There are bound to be some problems with that.

The maximum resolution they say is 1920x1080 which means it's HD ready, it can play blu-ray disks and support console games which are 1080p. It doesn't mean it will readily support a 1920x1080 computer resolution when you plug it in, you'll have to do some configuration first.

This thread here discussed more about running a TV as a PC monitor, read the 2nd last post and try it out. It should solve your problems.

Thanks, That post helps answer a few questions, but I still don't understand why I can play Cysis, Crysis warhead and Call of Juarez at 1920x1080 pixels, but my other games don't show that res option.

Make sure you select that you're running a 16:9 aspect ratio. The fact that you mentioned 1600x1200 makes me think your looking at 4:3 ratios. 1920x1080 IS widescreen.
