I am attempting to upgrade an older system and would like to know if an IBM FSB100 motherboard will support a FSB133 CPU. I believe my board is a 100 as that is the RAM it runs. Can someone help please? Thankyou. Dom

Use an application like CPU-Z to identify your motherboard chipset and model. Then, it will be easier to know what this CHIPSET support in terms of RAM and CPUs.

Or when you first boot the system look at the lower left bottom. It will tell you the chipset KT133 etc and the bios version. Or you can just look at the chips on the board itself.

The chipset model can also be found in system properties!
