So I'm toodling around Hell diff with my lvl 65 rushed furyzon. She's
up to Diablo in Act 4, but hadn't done any of the quests in act 1
except Andariel. So I'm cruising through the Dark Woods looking for
the big tree, and after taking about the super unique by it, saw that
a unique Heirophant Trophy. Cool I think. I pick it up. %$@#%. It
was Eth. Still, it'll work well for a while I guess. Then a bit
later on had some Laying of Hands drop. Nice them, planning on using
them on my smiter when I get an Exile shield. Eventually make may way
to Tristram and begin to put the hurt on poor old Griswold. Well,
he's holding up pretty well, taking out my Valk, one hit my merc but
he's only level 5x and doesn't have great gear so that wasn't so
surprising. What was surprising was that holding down the tab key to
see what was on the ground, (I've developed the habit of holding it
down frequently, even while fighting and everything, probably from all
the public baal games I've played in), I saw that a little ways away
from where I was fighting Griswold, a Ber rune was just laying
innocently on the ground. Suffice to say I dumped Grissy and made a
bee line for the rune. : )
It'll be interesting to see what else the game has to offer. : )

I started a game last night and had four uniques drop in the first six
random bosses, and I thought, good seed game going, but Meph, Shenk,
Eldritch, the Countess and the Pit had other ideas....

Indeed.
Chains of Honour, here I come!!!
(well, after I find an um and an ist and a decent armor to put it in
that is. I do have a white 501 def Boneweave I could use, but I'd
much rather some 500+ def Archon plate. Hopefully I'll find such
before I get the Um and Ist and won't have to decide between making the
runeword then, or waiting for some better armor.)

One more great story for the "good seed" book of Diablo )
