The fan on my Abit NF7-S is making a huge amount of noise. Even louder than my CPU fan on max speed. I think the problem is the wire underneath the fan is touching. Whenever the case is upright it makes this noise, if I lay it down it doesn't. I've tried pushing the wire back with a small screwdriver and that helped for about 1/2 hour.

Any suggestions?

Well, if all else fails, send Abit-usa's sales department a very friendly email explaining your situation (with your address) and chances are they'll mail you a new fan. No questions asked. No RMA. No cross-shipping. Just a new fan.

That's what I did when my NF7-S's fan became too noisy.

Mine started acting up a week ago... I have just been using headphones until I take my board out and put on a Crystal Orb I have here... Hmmmmm... I might send ABIT an e-mail, anyway, though...

I wonder if my stock fan off of my 9500np will fit on the north bridge... damn good idea...

Ya, that is the one... I was looking at the fit last night, too... I bet that will do a much better job cooling the north bridge for overclocking as well... it will save me from having to buy another crystal orb...
